Hi there! I try to show as many projects as possible on this blog, with the occasional announcements for sales, new product and classes. However, I also want it to be someplace you come to learn new techniques or about how to use products in new ways. So once in a while, I will throw in my thoughts about certain products I use and why I like them. Hope you find some value in this! :)
When I first started this hobby 6 years ago, the only thing I knew how to use was construction paper and stickers. I even used the occasional stamp that I found at craft stores. I've come a long way since then! One of my favorite products that I use now is Designer Series Paper. There are several reasons I love our DSP.
First, I love that it comes in packages with 12 different designs (front and back). That give me so many options and plenty of paper to use. It usually takes me a very long time to finish a pack of paper, even when I use it in a class. Second, I love that even though there are so many different designs, they all coordinate in color and style. Making it easy to interchange paper or coordinate on a card. Third, I love that the colors also coordinate with the rest of Stampin' Up!'s core colors. You can find the colors included in each package in the catalog. Love! Fourth, using these quality double-sided papers really kicks up my projects a notch. My projects look more professional and just darn cute with some pattern.
Ok, so what can you do with DSP? The question should really be, what CAN'T you do? Use them on cards, scrapbook pages or decorate 3-D items like the mailboxes from yesterday. Make flowers, banners, boxes, etc. The possibilities are endless. And with 26 different styles to choose from, you're sure to find one for your project!
If you'd like to take your projects up a notch with Designer Series Paper as well, be sure to order a pack or two! Shop online or email me with your order.
